HELP WANTED WINDOW TREATMENT STORE
Looking for a highly trusted and responsible person who can work well with customers and manage a retail store. A take charge kind of person with personality and zest. Needs some back round experience with window treatments, both soft and hard or interior design. We will also train on the hard treatments. Working one on one with customers as well as, some phone and some computer entry work. Easy going friendly and casual atmosphere. Located in Alberston which is in the Roslyn area. Semi part time or full time available.

Job Summary: Perform resets and general merchandising in different stores (grocery, drug, mass, etc.) in assigned geographic area. Resets consist of reading plan-o-grams (schematics, diagrams) and pulling products off the shelf and reshelving in an organized fashion. General merchandising consists of checking inventory, meeting with store managers, checking expiration dates, and making sure the proper products are on the shelves. Work could include both individual and team assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain 100% authorized distribution of all required products in assigned territory.
Cut-in and introduce new items.
Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products.
Supply and place point of sale materials.
Implement shelf plan-o-grams.
Complete all store calls assigned.
Achieve an acceptable effectiveness rate on assigned work.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Communicate information on product lines related to maintenance or sales activities and promotions.
Prepare and submit to management all required documentation on a timely basis.
Lift 35 lbs. to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Flexibility of schedule is important. Hours vary depending on your location, availability, and willingness to travel.
Successful candidate will have:
Merchandising experience
Reset experience a plus
Ability to read and follow a plan-o-gram
Ability to assemble fixtures and displays in-store
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Flexible schedule
Access to reliable transportation
Daily access to a MS 2000 compatible computer with internet capabilities
Basic computer skills
Excellent organization and planning skills

Reset Merchandier - Long Island, NY
We are currently seeking part time Retail Reset Merchandisers (RM) to service grocery stores during Monday Thursday during the hours 7am 4 pm.
Job Description:
The RM will travel daily to assigned stores to update and rearrange the clients products in one of its departments. We will provide the plan-o-grams (diagram) to arrange the products, shelves, price tags, and promotional materials to execute the plan exactly so that out clients products are ready to sell. The RM will work independently or as part of a team. Travel is required for the position and in-store route will vary weekly.
Job Requirements:
Merchandising experience preferred but not required
18 years or older
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Valid drivers license without restrictions or high points
Personal vehicle in sound operating condition
Proof of auto insurance listing you as a driver with comprehension & collision.

Ability to report all assignments within 24 hours of work completion
Willing to travel, travel will vary daily
The ability to daily stand, walk, bend, crawl, climb, kneel, push, pull, perform repetitive motions, and work on unprotected heights (normally on a step stool)
